Excavation/Construction caused a water main that affected Bokeelia on Tuesday, 6/30/26.

The break happened near the tennis courts at Pine Island Center where work was being done and occurred around 4 pm and lasted until around 10 pm.

As is standard with these incidents, it is advised throw away new ice from refrigerator with ice makers and boil potable water for about the next day.
